John Stockton GAR Post #380   The John Stockton GAR Post in New Haven, Michigan, applied for organization on April 15, 1887. The post was named in honor of John Stockton who entered service in the 8th Michigan Cavalry at organization as Colonel, age 64. He was commissioned October 3, 1862, mustered April 30, 1863, and discharged April 15, 1864. The last report for this post was issued December 8, 1922, with two members remaining in good standing.   Listed below are the charter members of this GAR post.
